Clarifications & Definitions

These notes explain the scope and limits of our pharmaceutical care education and community health programs, so there is no misunderstanding about what we offer and what falls outside our responsibility.

What does “pharmaceutical care education” include?

We provide general information about medication use, dosage timing, potential side effects, and when to consult a pharmacist. This does not replace a doctor’s prescription or a personalised treatment plan. Always follow your healthcare provider’s instructions for your specific condition.

Are your community health screenings a substitute for a medical check-up?

No. Our mobile clinic screenings measure blood pressure, blood glucose, and BMI as an initial wellness check. These results are not a diagnosis. If any reading is outside the normal range, we advise you to visit a primary healthcare facility for a full evaluation.

Do you sell or recommend specific supplement brands?

We discuss supplement categories (e.g., magnesium glycinate, melatonin, ashwagandha) and general quality indicators. We do not endorse any particular brand or manufacturer. Always check the label for active ingredients and consult your pharmacist before starting a new supplement.

What is the geographic scope of your programs?

Our current health screening and education initiatives operate in Limpopo, Eastern Cape, and KwaZulu-Natal. We plan to expand to other provinces as partnerships and funding allow. Online resources are available to anyone with internet access, regardless of location.

How do you handle personal health data collected during screenings?

All data is anonymised and used only for aggregate reporting and program improvement. Individual results are shared only with the person screened. We do not share or sell personal health information. For full details, see our privacy policy.

Can I request a one-on-one consultation with a pharmacist?

Yes, during scheduled community health events we offer individual consultations. Outside of events, you can contact us via email or phone for general medication questions. We do not provide remote diagnosis or prescription services.
